[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] High pigment alert! I love liquid blushes as much as the next person but the Huda Beauty Blush Filters didn’t float my boat as well as others.
I really like the packaging – it’s modern, fun and definitely a notch or two on the fancy liquid tubes. They also have nice, cool and smooth hands.
The shades I currently have from left to right are: Watermelon Pop, Peach Sorbet and Strawberry Cream.
So, I don’t think that the colors, when changed, are well represented by the package. They just don’t look the same so this is something that should be tested before you buy. I’m also not ready for the amount of pigment they give me. The amount of pigment isn’t bad, but the cheeks are the worst place to add your color, especially if you’ve already put on your foundation. The entire unit must be removed if you cannot mix it thoroughly.
I used three small dots on my cheeks with the intention of blending them together but my goodness, there was so much! I wasn’t wearing foundation, thankfully, so it wasn’t too hard to remove and I just did what I could with what was left. Even so, I was mixing much longer than I would have liked.
It doesn’t look too bad (it’s a Watermelon Pop) but I don’t think you need to work hard with the product – not £24 (AKA), anyway.
