What are you reading, watching and listening to these days? We want to find your best podcast/movie/TV/book this summer. This is what our editors and writers have been…
“I’ve seen two great shows recently: Sprint which follows the best athletes in the world, especially my hero, Sha’Carri Richardson; Lance, 30 for 30 making about Lance Armstrong. Even if you are sick of hearing about his shameful career, you will be surprised by it his talking about it. He doesn’t complain about anything. Very interesting, very interesting. -Jenny
“After reading Dolly Alderton’s Big Salad, I dropped her and made reading all of her books one of my 2024 goals. I just started her memoir, Everything I Know About Love, and it’s fun, confusing and word-y. It captures all the confusion and joy and heartbreak perfectly. that comes with dating, trying to make friends, and starting your career in your early 20s. Every chapter has a British accent, which sounds like a welcome addition to work and parenting.” — Janelle
The Staves and Sequoia Ziff
“My cousins turned me on to a new music group when we were in England; and my three favorite songs are In the Long Run by The Staves, Hey Daydreamer by Neil Halstead, and It’s a Beautiful Thing by The Loose Salute. It’s always fun to add new bands to the looooong Spotify playlist I play at home. ” — Joana
“My husband and I are also overseeing the entire world of Presumed Innocent. A very suspenseful (and sneaky in that David E. Kelley way) murder mystery – Jake Gyllenhaal is amazing in it. I read this book after it came out and saw the Harrison Ford movie many years ago and I have completely forgotten who did it! – Jenny
