Original, stylish, and unconventional would best describe Kim Shui’s Fall ’24 collection on Friday evening at Irving Plaza, highlighting the ‘Year of the Dragon’ in honor of the New Year.
With 34 designs, we saw a lot of dragon like materials in the design including the use of leather, snakeskin, and architectural silhouettes. Shui stayed true to her style by using lace, mixing in prints, and incorporating fur.
She also started playing with bold colors like lime green and hot pink, playing with the arms that circled the arms and legs, and adding gloves where she saw fit.
There was no shortage of eye-catching accessories, and the models looked very different in their Poppy Lissiman and Akila glasses. Not to mention, scrappy heels and fur that added a nice avant-garde touch.
