Ironically, as we head into fall, summer is just around the corner…the change in weather is a great time to reflect.
For me, I feel that the summer often throws my behavior with care and habits. Travel, visitors, outdoor activities… all of these things can interfere with regularly scheduled programs.
And this is not a problem! It just means that when things start to settle down, we have a chance to try to get back into the habits that were broken.
It has the ability – to start again is to simply go back to zero, and embrace the Mindset of the Beginner.
Today, I want to invite you to think about what is missing in your life: exercise, eating well, getting up in the morning, doing things in the morning, meditation, writing, writing, success, money?
And then let go of any guilt or judgment – try to be kind to yourself. Try to understand that you are doing the best you can, with the energy you have every day. Try to forgive yourself, and let go of what you think you “should” do.
Then start over – go back to zero and enjoy the beginning as much as you enjoy the middle or the end. There is joy to this.
Btw, I’m hosting a meeting for my Fearless Living Academy members next week on Wednesday (Sept. 11) at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern on this topic:
FLA Workshop: An Introduction to Rebuilding Habits
If you are interested, join the Fearless Living Academy, and the workshop is included! You can also track your habits with the help of the community and my video tutorials on creating habits in FLA.
I hope to see you there. And I wish you all the best in this beautiful season of renewal. 🌺
